  • Sourced candidates for hard-to-fill positions worldwide.
  • Positions included embedded software, RF, baseband, antenna, Director level positions in software product management, "bare metal/lights out" systems administrators, displays, cameras, IT, networking and any other positions pertaining to the design and manufacture of wireless cell phones.
  • Taught Boolean classes worldwide via Webex.

6/04 - 4/08   RAYTHEON   (Contract)    Dallas, TX
Sr. SWAT  Team Sourcing Lead  

  • As a sourcer I wrote Boolean search strings for all the recruiters on the SWAT Recruiting Team.
  • Member of 10 person SWAT Team established by Raytheon Corporate that recruited for difficult-to-fill technical defense positions across this conglomeration of six companies, a vast spectrum of positions that ranged from electronic warfare to finding a Bio-Hazard Safety Engineer for Azerbaijan. Also recruited patent attorneys with BSEE.
  • New reqs came to me first and followed the sequence of interviewing the hiring manager with the recruiter present. Then I would break down the technical req into terms that the recruiter could relate to. Next step was for me to write Boolean strings for the other recruiters. This was my full time job. We were very successful.  
  • Taught classes on Boolean recruiting in various U.S. locations of Raytheon.
  • Using VBA, designed specialized Applicant Tracking System just for the SWAT Team.
